OUTDOOR RANGES

For clarity (and fun ) we’ve named our three registered outdoor ranges (Robin Hood, Maid Marian & Little John) so we can more easily point people in the right direction for club sessions.

Students

We welcome students who are affiliated to Archery GB through their college or university archery club to shoot with us over the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays (or any other time, for that matter, if you’re local and would like some extra practice sessions!). Please just:

  • Email our secretary (secretary@nortonarchers.co.uk) before coming for the first time to allow us to welcome you properly

  • bring your Archery GB card with you to your first session

  • and then, if you like us, you can join the club as a student member for just £1 and shoot for the same price as a club member rather than a guest!

Please note:

The information relates to our sessions for club members and guests who are members of Archery GB.

If you’re new to archery then you’ll need to do a beginners’ course before being able to shoot at any archery club (more information on this can be found on our Beginner's Page page).

If you’re an Archery GB member who wishes to shoot with us as a guest, please let our Secretary, Lynne, know by email at secretary@nortonarchers.co.uk so we can make sure there’s someone available to greet you properly and also so we can let you know if there are any upcoming novelty shoots or competitions on in place of our normal sessions. Please bring your Archery GB card along whenever you shoot with us, and please also note that all-carbon arrows are not permitted for outdoor sessions – we shoot on a field which is used for other sporting activities and need to find all missing arrows with our trusty metal detector!
